This latest brand partnership will see Powerscreen of Washington offer the exciting range of Kobelco crawler excavators from the SK17SR-6E mini-excavator to the SK380SRLC-7 crawler – versatile excavators ideal for all aspects of the construction sector – as well as its timber and lumber industry perfect ‘High and Wide’ range, long-reach, auto-dismantling and demolition sector specific machines.
The fast-growing Powerscreen of Washington equipment dealership will offer the Kobelco range from its flagship service centre in Kent, WA – ensuring customers working in the construction, lumber and timber, recycling, demolition, civil engineering and infrastructure sectors can benefit from the machines famed for their exceptional build-quality, fuel-sipping efficiency, refined performance and user accuracy.
Customers will be able to view the Kobelco machines and their timber industry capability when Powerscreen of Washington exhibit them at the Oregon Logging Conference to be held in Eugene, in February 2024.
The addition of Kobelco as brand partner is another step in the Powerscreen of Washington bid to provide an industry leading, comprehensive, 360-degree product range to its customers and complements its existing range of equipment from international giants including Terex Ecotec, Powerscreen, Fuchs and many more. Several Kobelco crawler excavators will also be available as part of Powerscreen of Washington’s rental fleet.
The manufacturer partnership between Kobelco and Powerscreen of Washington is the latest development since the dealership was acquired by UK-based equipment dealer Molson Group in April 2022 and reflects the confident relationship that has developed between Molson Group in the UK and follows Powerscreen of Washington’s successful rollout of dealerCMD – a digital technology software developed to digitize equipment dealership businesses.
Jeff Ford, VP Sales at Powerscreen of Washington said: “The addition of Kobelco as brand partner complements our existing product range perfectly. Our business is well known for offering fantastic machines and a superb aftersales service. The exceptional quality of the Kobelco range will enable us to strengthen our offering for customers and expand our reach.”
